Pricing "duck" Eggs (locally)

I bought the only duck eggs at auction last time that I went. I paid $3 per dozen. They are mixed breed though. I would have paid higher for pekin or possibly even muscovy purebreds. I probably wouldn't pay $10 per dozen from an auction though. Try to get them sold before the auction.

Fertile runner eggs are going for $1/egg or $10/doz in my district. I just a dozen but threw in 3 extra for $10. All of mine are runners except for 1 mixed breed duck which is why I gave her 15. Unless she's the pond egg layer, 3 of them won't be true runners.
