I haven't seen any roman tufted eggs on ebay, I would list them there and see what you get. Most of the goose eggs on there (other than sebbies, dewlap toulouse, or lavender americans

) are going from $1 to $3 an egg.

Did you leave them in the nest ? Tufted Romans tend to sit on rather large clutches, mine never set on less than six and eight was about average. Your eggs, your choice, but your reason doesn't make sense.

We left them for a couple days but she was laying them all over the pen, no specific spot. we moved them into the house but she has no interest yet. We had RT's before and they sat about 6 or so also but they laid in the same spot everytime.

My RT took awhile to decide to set too. She decided to take turns with the Sabastopols......... when she gets up, a Sebbie comes and layers her egg, then the RT goes back and sets..... I think she even has some crested duck eggs under her. My Canada goose is anti-social with other geese but keeps laying, so I just put a RT egg in her nest with her infertile egg so maybe she can finally hatch her a baby... LOL.
