I have harvested many seeds from my prickly pear cactus plants and I have the pricked fingers to prove it!!

Just curious are these the same species that the Maltese people make Bajtra with? (They use it for everything from eating, strong beverages, lace etc.) I ask because I was there for my honeymoon and if it is the same then I would be interested if you'll mail to WA.

I have no idea...
I know that a lady locally wanted some to make prickly pear jelly out of. And she also said something about candy.
These have the yellow blooms, when they bloom.
