Midnight ran through the trees, through a tunnel, then stopped, panting. There was a rocky mountain right in front of him. Ami and Zara also stopped. "Now what, you fool?" Ami hissed.

Ami snarled. "Hush! Have faith!" he growled softly. He smiled and brushed a massive fern away, revealing a large tunnel. "Go" he whispered. "I'll be behind you" Ami looked at him and went down into the large tunnel, Zenaya on her back. Zara followed.

Ami snarled. "Hush! Have faith!" he growled softly. He smiled and brushed a massive fern away, revealing a large tunnel. "Go" he whispered. "I'll be behind you" Ami looked at him and went down into the large tunnel, Zenaya on her back. Zara followed.

Layla waited till Tamika and Mika had sprinted through, then followed.

Midnight waited for the remaining lionesses. Ami came out on the other side. "Safe. Free" she muttered softly. The camp was encircled on every side by mountains. The mountain walls had no gaps, and they were really high. No lion could climb them.

He let out a massive roar. Sarabi heard it and darted out of Xander's den, racing around randomly to throw off her scent. She ran through a river several times, then took off. "Well done" she whispered to Midnight before squeezing through the tunnel. Midnight followed, brushing the ferns back into place.
