Midnight stood and walked over. "Hey, Schon. Who is this?" he asked, purring softly.

Shanu smiled up at her, then saw Midnight and hid behind her.

"Her name is Shanu and i found her while i was out today" Schon said slightly defensively

"Alright. She's cute" he said, smiling.

Schon smiled relaxing

Midnight saw her relax and tilted his head. "What, did you think I would hurt her?" he asked, looking at the little cub.
Shanu walked slowly out from behind Schon.

"Well... I wasn't to sure. I've seen lions do some pretty nasty things before" Schon replied

"this pride isn't like that" he said. "We wouldn't hurt a cub. Sarabi makes sure of that" he added with a laugh.

"Sarabi?" She asked

"The Alpha female. I'm surprised you haven't met her yet" he said, surprised.

"I've only met three of the lions in this pride, witch is my own fault really" She said quietly sitting down
