He nodded sadly. "Many of the lionesses were under a year. Zenaya!" he called. She looked up instantly at the sound of her name, then slunk over nervously. "This is Zenaya. She was one of Xander's lionesses." he said. She looked at him, relief in her eyes. "Yeah" she said softly. "who are you?" she asked.

Chiku lowered her eyes. She shook her head. "I'm not yet starving. My last meal was a few days ago. I've learned to survive without food for a couple weeks, but I need to drink water pretty often. Thank you for the offer though," she said quietly.
