"They've been digging. The humans. It's a railway down there," Leo said, his eyes dulling with memory.

He growled. "I hate humans" he muttered angrily.

 

[Bluebee]

Leo's head disappeared back into the tunnel. He poked his head back out, a rat in his jaws. He dropped it, and it stood up, staring at Midnight. "This is Perry," he said. The rat kept staring up at Midnight with black eyes. "He's sort of like my companion down here," Leo added. He took the rat in his jaws again, and put it back in the tunnel.

Midnight smiled. "Hey there, Perry. I think I've met him before" he said.

Leo came out of the tunnel. He looked at Midnight, his coat dull.

"You ok?" he asked, worried.

Leo nodded. He licked his skinny paw.

"How bout you come back with me. Sarabi was wondering where you went earlier"

Leo's head bowed. "Ok," he said, glancing up at Midnight.
