Sarabi ducked on this one, snarling.

Midnight smiled. "I know none of you trust me, but you have nothing to fear from me. I promise"

Ami looked at his, her eyes mixed between trust, fear, and distrust.

Zenaya heard the fighting and groaned sadly.

While Sarabi ducked, Xander flew at her, slashing his burning claws at her face.

Layla curled her lip as he spoke. "Just like what Xander said." She hissed.

Xander burst into flames, his fur burning her paws. He slammed to the ground, hoping to smash her with his weight.

Layla snarled. "That is also what Xander said!" She hissed, arching her back.

Midnight looked at her. "Ok, so apparently I'm saying everything Xander said. I'm sorry, please don't hurt me. I've never hurt another lion, though. He had, obviously. I promise that if you trust me, I won't betray that trust. Mika, I wish you remembered me. We used to have so much fun together,"

Ami finally walked forward. "Guys, I- I think he's telling the truth" she said, slowly walking towards him. She didn't know how she knew that, she just did.

Layla grabbed Ami's scruff, pulling her back. "This is the same thing Xander told me. That stupid, lying flea bag. He told me if I became his mate I would be protected better than if I was in a pride. And of course I was an idiot and believed him!" She hissed, then blinked. She had just told a complete stranger who she was.

Xander hissed, and shot purple flames from his claws. He snarled in pain as Sarabi's teeth punctured his skin.
