"Would you quit?" Sarabi asked good-naturedly. She hadn't felt hunger in years. She brought her a chuck of meat from one of the zebra and gave it to the cub.

Making a aprricative sound Gin tore into the meat. Her green gaze locked on the the lioness.

Breath catching a low mourning sound passed through her lips... bad pack killed them. They were big and other was only six and my three brothers. A cry poured for as gin remembered their screams.

After a while of the lioness comfort gin decided to try her luck.. " I am too young to be alone. I don't want to be alone.. Will you be my mom?" Gin said cautiously.

She smiled, looking down at the cub. "I would, but I'm just so busy. But see that cub out there, and those 2 lions over there, the black one and the white one?" she asked. "They'd take ya in with their own. The white lioness would be your mom, the black lion, your dad. They'd be able to take care of you much better that I could. But I'll take care of you until they're done hunting, how about that? We're having a feast tonight. And I won't let you be alone again, I promise" she said, licking the top of the cub's head gently.
