Chiku spoke softly to the snake, and it kept itself wrapped around her front leg.

"Hey there" Zara said to Chiku

"He had two lionesses but he killed one and her three male cubs the other he killed her two males and left her and the female cub"

"Does he have any now?"

 

[Bluebee]

Chiku jumped at Zara's greeting. The snake flew off her, and landed in the grass, hissing. Chiku backed away from Zara, afraid that she would fight her.

She lowered her head. "Hey, relax" she smiled warmly. "It's ok"

 

[Bluebee]

Chiku lifted her ears. "I'll leave if you want me to," she said, the snake slithering back to her. She ran her paw down it's back, stroking it. It slithered onto her tail, and wrapped around it.

"Nah, you're fine" she smiled.

Chiku lowered her ears. Her throat was dry, and she needed water. She opened her mouth for a second, but closed it quickly.

She tilted her head. "Thirsty?"
