Prince T Woods Coop build with additional run?

Would you suggest that we build ours 3ft off the ground to start off? Or just build an adjacent run?

Both could be beneficial.
Raised needs to be high enough to get under fairly easily,
and can provide good dry shelter all year around
(depending on drainage).
Solid roof on run provides same.
Both those go with any type of coop and run scenario.
