So I want to enter my buff Orpington pullet, Olive. Olive is around 6 months old. Not 100% her age, but she hasn't started laying yet, and she was born sometime this spring/summer.

This is my favorite standard hen (note the standard part. I don't have a favorite bantam or a favorite chicken really, but out of the standards she's the best

Her name is Shadow and she is a 8 month old Easter Egger. She lays brown eggs, though. Not pink. Brown. The same as the eggs laid by my Dominiques, BSl, and SLW. I don't count her as an Easter Egger much, mostly just as a mutt, but mutts are my favorite breed, so it all works out.

The poor girl is the favorite of the dominant rooster, so at the moment she lives with my Golden Sebright trio and a Dominique who is also missing some feathers

Bird's breed: Cornish Cross.
Bird's age: 5 weeks.

I raised cornish cross or meat bird to show people that broilers are not just for eating, they also deserve to live and be happy with other chickens. And I was right! Broilers are good pets too, this pullet, Cow-cow, is a very gentle, docile, and quiet chicken, and she runs to me whenever I whistle (sweeet!

). I will still try to raise her although may say that broilers don't last but I do believe that with the love and care i give to her, she will survive 'til the end. So far, of all my chickens, Cow-cow is the most behave, and docile chicken. Nothing will replace her. She's my favorite!
