PRO’s and CON’s of feeder/water in coop

Food and water in the coop year round, and extra waterers scattered around their pasture area in the summer.

I need electricity for the waterer in the winter. The feeders are the hanging style, so they don't knock them over. The heated waterer is 3 gallons and is blocked so they can't tip it.

I personally see no advantages to having the food and water in the coop.

They take up space and can get knocked over making a mess at best and turning the coop bedding into a stinking quagmire at worst.

Others think differently, but having the feed and water out in the run where there is more space and spills are less of a problem works best for me.
I had a mess to clean up this morning after one of my 6 week old chickadees flew off the roost and landed on the water container causing it to spill everywhere . They were very upset at the mess it made and all of them got back on the roost! They don't know it yet but the waters going outside in a couple days!Lol
