Ok, so my grandkids are coming to visit in 3 weeks from tomorrow. They just saw me today and asked me to set some eggs so they can play with new chicks when they come for the weekend. So being the nice grandma that I am, I agreed. I have people that wants chicks if I don't want to keep them so it is fine. Here is my problem. I will be setting them either later tonight or tomorrow but on the weekend of the 21st, I am going to be taking my mom camping for a few nights. My incubator doesn't have a turner. I am going to be traveling about 13 miles one way to camp. My options are leaving the incubator here and not turning them or setting the eggs in egg cartons and take the incubator with me to the campground. I don't know whether the bouncing in the camper or my pickup to get there will hurt them or not. What do you all think is the best solution? I would love to go buy a turner but simply can't afford it.

I think they will be fine because look at all the eggs shipped round the country

I would leave them at home and turn them right before you leave and make sure to turn them again right after you get back.

I also guess I forgot to add that I will be coming back and forth to take care of my other chickens at least once a day.
