Good morning all
Still relatively new to raising chickens. I woke up this morning and went to feed the chickens and found one of them has an injured eye. Her eyelid is swollen and she has a white discharge in the corner of her eye. I really don’t have anyplace to isolate her unfortunately. What’s my best course of action to help her? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I would flush the eye with saline eye wash or water, and then clean out any of the white pus. Then apply either Terramycin eye ointment from a feed store, or plain antibiotic ointment twice a day. Tylosin powder can help if it is from a respiratory disease such as MG. Here is where to order Tylosin:

Thank you very much. I’m actually at store now getting terramycin. Do I just apply it directly to her eye?
