Problem with Chickens Roosting on Feeders? ... LOOK!

Cheap and easy way to keep your birds off the feeders....(poop...hate that!) ....

These are $1.00 at Walmart in the Auto Dept.....cheap is good!!

Oh, that's GENIUS. Do you think it's big enough to fit over the bucket feeder? Or, even just big enough to discourage them from sitting up there? I'm thinking I could just drill a couple of small holes and attach it to the lid with nuts & bolts. Think it would work?

I swear every time I walk past the run I end up shouting "BIRD...GET OFF THE FEEDER!!!"

Sure, I think it would work if you screwed it down to your bucket lid...they won't be able to get any 'traction' ... now THAT's genius! Good thinking!

I cut the top of a 5 gallon water bottle to make a LARGE funnel to top the feeder, similar to the picture.

I used the bottom 5 inches of the same bottle to use as a water dish...
