Problem with door closure on run

drill as series of holes ontop of each other and use a chisel to remove the excess.

this leaves you with an elongated oval in the up/down direction.

you have infinite options for up/down, but the in/out direction of the gate is still limited to "closed"

We do have raccoons, oppossums, skunks, hawks....but we have a concrete "footer" around the perimeter to keep them out. Doors are harder to "predator proof"! Luckily, my acreage doens't have many trees, so we rarely (if ever) see these pradators, with the exception of hawks, near the barn that the chicken run is attached to. Thanks for the reminder!!
