Hi, I'm new to this board and I'm having problems with the incubation process. I have left the eggs inside a
STILL AIR INCUBATOR w/ AUTOMATIC TURNER for 6 days now. Was I suppose to be able to see vain or an heartbeat when I candle the egg? I have chickens eggs inside the incubator. I have temperature at 100 degrees and humidity around 60%.

Question 2#

Can I leave the automatic turner on all day and night?

With a good flashlight without much over flow, yes, you should be able to see veins by now or some mass forming in the egg. Wait till day 10 to be sure on darker shelled eggs. As for turner, yes, leave that on continuously for the first 18 days.

Humidity at 60% is a bit high for the first 18 days. Let it go down and try to keep it on the dry side of 50%. Increase it to 70% during the last three days. You will want to remover the turner on day 18 and increase the humidity at the same time.

Thanks you guys for posting
