Looking for advice here.

My chick hatched with a long, nasty-looking protrusion from its behind. It's dragging it all over the incubator. Looks almost like his intestines. Can that be true? If so, then what?

So, this is NOT looking right. Looks like intestines to me. What to do??

Push it back into the opening and put some neosporin on it I had a chick from my last hatch that had the same problem I threw on a pair of gloves and gently pushed it back inside. Applied some neo and it closed up within a few hours.

Hoo boy. Didn't know I signed up for this. Haha! Here we go! I'll give it a try.

That did not work. I tried. For quite a while. No way that stuff wanted to go back inside. So, is he a goner, I'm guessing?
