Problem With the Subscription Gizmo

I check my email several times a day and haven't gotten a notification of any topics that I'm subscribed to for several days. This morning when I checked and did have a notification. Imagine my surprise when I found several unread posts the oldest being 1 day and 12 hours ago.

My subscription gizmo hasn't worked for about a year, I just gave up complaining. I have most of my subscriptions set for immediate and its all activated but no results. I just have to check a million times a day to see if there are any new posts.
