TRACTOR SUPPLY suggested, EVEN though it wasn't necessary yet to try GRIT with my treats and to see if my little chick would then thrive.... it worked!

So far my 14 chicks are only on Chick Crumbles...but I mixed in a little grit...
And then with treats, even soft treats, I sprinkle with GRIT

Treats to date have been: broken up wheat bread, broken cheerios, scrambled & cut up boiled eggs, spinach leaves, cooked & uncooked oatmeal,

but what caused the worst frenzzy ever was NOT the mealworms, but cut up raisins and CRAISINS
