Problems with Double R?

Have any of you had problems with Double R? I purchased an incubator from them last week, paid promptly, and havent heard a word from them. I don't want to file a dispute if I don't have to, but its been a week and nothing.

Yeah, I order my first incubator from them on ebay a few years ago. They took their sweet time sending it and communication was nill.

my experience, i bought the brower tophatch, i ordered on line, i didnt receive anything from them, i emailed them ,they said it was a new computer thing, ok
so then delivery, usually when you order something they send an its been shipped notice,,no nothing, so i email them about how i dont even know if they are a real company and that i am a bit nervous as all the links to email didnt get answered, finally an answer, and finally it shipped, it took a whole lot longer than like mmh or other places for supplies,
then the killer is, the incubator if you actually open it they wont take it back, its in their policy,,ours worked less than 21 days and her thing was that we used it..??? well dah, so she wanted me to tell her whats wrong and order parts from the brower comp. so what i did was called brower myself explained the situation, they gave me a code to send my incubator straight to brower and brower is going to credit double r for it, and i hope double r will then credit me,,but that has yet to happen.

i just noticed your in the same state as them!! shipping or driving over would take about the same time,lol i know sorry not funny
i was so excited and it took so freakn long and then to have it break, then to have them say oh well you opened it its used,ugg

I have not ordered from Double R...
I ordered my Browers from Smiths Poultry Supplies....
when it did not make it thru first incubation I was told to contact company that made them.
I called and when they asked what was wrong i just held phone up to browers and let them listen to it grinding away...
so they sent me a new one and this one had the ball bearings in it... but it did not last long either!
I just use them for nursery for newly hatched for a day..
they still heat up but no turning and the fan doesn't seem to work either!
maybe not good incubators???

Purchasing items from Ebay, the seller has 10 days after auction to send your item out. The seller does not have to notify you. It is their choice. They could be the type of people who dont realize that it's good manners and that they should let people know when their item will be shipped out. Personally, stuff like that I would not buy from Ebay. I'll goto the store and buy it. Much easier and I can shop for other things at the same time.

I ordered a hova bator genesis through their website and my incubator arrived a few days later. Never had a problem with it or them. They even emailed me to let me know when it shipped.

Ive ordered two Gensis incubator three years ago and they were shipped promptly. Not sure what happened here....are the staff on vacation?

I ordered chicks from double r and never received them. They were scheduled to arrive on April 19th, when that date came and went without any notification, I called and they told me in a rather snotty way that, "mother nature can't be rushed." They then gave me a May 19th arrival date, which came and went with out a word from them. Again I called and got the same response and was told that I would have my chicks by July 19th.

Needless to say, I canceled the order and will not be doing business with them ever again.

WOW! Things must have changed around there from last year. I did a ton of business with them and never had a problem.
