Problems with Photo Upload

So I thought it was just a fluke, but now it's been three days and the site won't let me upload pictures ANYwhere. When I try, the whole page freezes on the upload window with the bar saying uploading 1 of 1 files" and he submit button saying "one moment"
I've restartedmy computer, cleaned out everything I can think of, and it's still not working.

I am having the same issue. I use Firefox, have deleted/cleaned, shutdown computer and am still unable to load pics from my profile page or on any of the threads. I have never had this problem before.

Thank you. I have already completed the first part of Nifty's info and it has not helped. I have not yet attempted to contact as the second part of the info indicates.

looks like several people having this issue

i came here to also report issues uploading pics

basically its a internet explorer 10 issue

when uploading it does'nt complete


but firefox is fine

im using firefox now to test and pics uploading fine

but not on ~IE

I do not use IE. I use Firefox only. I am still having the problem. I have tried again this morning and when I hit the upload pics the bar opens but nothing happens. Then when I hit cancel and go to leave the page it prompts "do you want to leave page" and if I try again it still does not work.

I am going to have my husband check it later as he is more up on computers than I am before I report it as an issue.

My husband just had me switch to google chrome. it works, but I don't have the option to change my browser everywhere I go.I hope this can be fixed or I won't be able to use this site as much.

It definitely is an IE10 problem...no doubt about it. Using those "fixes" Nifty suggests will not fix the situation or allow you to upload photos via IE10. You will have to use Chrome, Firefox, etc. to upload photos. As far as "fixing" the problem, that is most likely beyond BYC's control unless they own the forum software and have a software programmer. It will most likely get "fixed" by the programmers who created this board format via a hot fix or upgrade to BYC's Forum software.

You are correct. The tech's at Huddler (host) will take care of this. However, Nifty's boilerplate is to insure that the end-user has all their ducks in a row. Providing info. on hardware/OS/Browser/URL allows the techs to pinpoint the problem.
