I ordered 65 chicks, buff orps, barred rocks, wyandottes and araucanas.
The three that died so far seem to be white or solid light colored araucanas. I think this because they are liight yellow whereas the buff orps seem more golden. They are very small and have shorter rumps. The araucanas that are chicpmunk colors are doing great, but these light colored chicks didn't do well. I have one remaining but it's much smaller than the other chicks. My question is ... Is it just a coinsidence or would a light araucana have some inherant problem.
