WTG Pat! We just did our first one today, and it didn't go as well as yours. We certainly weren't prepared! I just made a quick call to my dad to get the proper tools for future use. We did hang it from a tree, that made thing easier. Plus I tried the dry plucking just to see how it would go (just to experiment) and the feathers came out of our buff orpington very easy as well.
