The Braining is a bit too far in the future for sure! But not crossing it off the list it is quite interesting with the feather issues! Storing in docs folders for now!

In this article it first discusses "FATTENING"

"It's debatable whether fattening produces more than bloated meat. A well fed and unwormy bird will supply as much meat as its breeding permits; fattening it will probably only add fat. However if your birds seem particularly scrawny then you might want to segregate...."

I was under the assumption that they couldn't be overfed, I am wrong obviously! Now I wonder if I am feeding too Much FF daily because the brahma have GIGUMBO crops every night!

Check for pin feathers? Does anyone run into this problem? I don't think they have any, what part of the body should I look?

"If they are, you will probably prefer to wait until the feathers have fully grown before killing the bird"

CR will over eat! They will just sit by the feeder and eat non-stop. They will eat so much they canny hold themselves up. I always hung the feed and water high and never let them have access for more than half the day (Food) and kept food and water far apart to force them to move. Just my experience.
