TSC gets chicks from different hatcheries based on where the Store is located. In California they come from Ideal. A 4-H kid waited until 10 weeks to send her meaties to the processor in Sacramento and they were so big she has been banned from sending chickens there any more.so just Cornish x from tsc ?
I live in Northeast TN, so I am close to the VA line. My first CX came from a TN store, and the second set came from the VA store. The TN chicks grew faster and bigger than the ones I got from VA, just two weeks later. I don't know the cause, but suspect I either got the slower growing ones, or they came from a different hatchery.TSC gets chicks from different hatcheries based on where the Store is located. They were huge in 10 weeks.
