this will work fine! but remember its the "tightness" in the cone that helps settle them too, so be warned if you do this, that they can pull their head back in the bag and not bleed out right

Thank you Sally, since I haven't done this yet, I would not have thought of that. And by the way, my meaties are yelling for their FF for their pm meal.
I tried to give them just dry crumble tonight as a quick meal but one of them just wouldn't shut up until finally I added the FF to the feeder. Quiet as could be
in just a few dips of the beak into the feeder. They are too funny these little critters.

where would one get traffic cones such as those in the pic? (Other than off the highway

)

Home Depot, OSH, Do It Center all have road cones. Also Amazon.com.

Thanks Sally Sunshine, and everyone for sharing your experience. I've been dreading kill/process part. (still am) I've been glued to this post since I found it, finished reading about midnight, fell asleep hard and now I'm ready to at least consider the tools I need, and hopefully can do what is necessary when the time comes. (at least I have time) You all are amazing!!!

oh YAY!!! did you see the FF Hotwater no straing method video a page or so back, finally made it! Dh wasn't thrilled but he made it while I taped! he he he
