Not a dumb question!

In the lower right corner of each post is a green 'thumbs up' icon.... click on it and it will provide you a small box for comment (comments are totally optional). after adding any comment you tell it either 'add to reputation' or cancel if you made a mistake.
If you 'add to reputation' it generates an Ovation, the post then has a little flag with a number by the thumbs up box to indicate how many Ovations that particular post has. The person receiving the Ovation should get an e-mail notification that they received it with a link to the post it was given for and on your home page you will see 'Ovations' listed in the column to the left of your page picture (under your avatar pic). You can click on that link and it will take you to your own Ovation page which shows your ovation posts from the time the ovations were started.
 
Sorry, I once again double answered....I know I type slow, but not 13 minutes slow! my internet link must be a bit behind or something because it often doesn't show posts till they are listed at a few minutes old. Guess that is my penance for living in the sticks! LOL

my plight somehow got around to my grams ears and guess what! she is going to let me borrow her old ax to cull with. downside is I won't be able to cull anyone before Saturday morning but I don't mind I don't want to be rushed during I'm still very slow to make the chop

one of the roosters is well over 30 weeks old but I couldn't talk my dad into letting me cull him until he finally went for my dads face like he does me every morning. the others are around 15-17 weeks through
