Processing Tips Needed!!!

I use quart size ziplock bags for boned breast meat, 1 bag is the right size for dinner around here. Gallon Size ziplock bags for 1/2 chicken. One time I let them get 10-12 weeks old and they were over 10 lbs dressed. For those I used the kind of bag that you cook a turkey in -- an oven roasting bag -- then wrapped them in butcher paper to put them in the freezer. This was in about 1990, and I did not have any idea about the shrink bags back then. I just used the oven bag to cook them in after I thawed them -- better than a 10 pound turkey according to our family.

great! What size bags are recommended for CornishCross? I am worried the 10in bags wind be large enough? Or will they?
10x18 seems to work well for a large variety of sizes. I have put birds ranging from 2lbs to almost 7lbs in those bags. They say they can fit a 10lb bird, but I wouldn't want to try and stuff one that big in there.

I've watched probably every butcher video on youtube lol. I decided that dunking in hot water and plucking wasn't for me. Skinning is sooo much easier and I hate skin so it's a win, win! Look up processing chickens in 90 seconds on youtube!
