At what age do you process coturnix for meat if thats why you are raising them ?

6-12 weeks

6-8 weeks if pharaoh size (smaller bird)
8-12 weeks if jumbo size (larger bird and seems best butchered at 12 weeks)

A couple weeks ago I processed 55 Coturnix. They were 9.5 weeks old.
At about 8.5 weeks some of the males started to get aggressive.
My next batch I'll do at eight weeks and save some bloodshed.
