Processors in East Tennessee

I'm trying to think way ahead and have a plan for my extra roosters that I am unable to rehome. I don't have any yet, but I know that I eventually will. I've been reading some posts about slaughtering them myself and the jury is still out as to if I can go through with it. Does anyone know of a processor in the East Tennessee area? I live an hour northeast of Knoxville and would rather not drive an outrageous distance. Thanks to all for their input.

There isnt much to a chicken.. I would save your money and do it yourself.
If you cant do it..try asking around where you live ..or have a relative do it.

I couldnt do it.. then again.. all my birds are pets .. more or less...
Just dont look em in the eye


Call Homestead,Inc. in knoxville.. not sure if they will or can do it.. but worth a try ?
