Has anyone besides me procrastinated in buying Christmas gifts? Partly it was coming up with the cash, and partly it is dreading going, and partly it is that I really don't know what to purchase.....

I still have to but some. Mostly because of the money this year. My kids are all grown so they understand that Christmas will be slim this year. They told me that I dont have to get them anything but I told them they will at least have 1 present under the tree Christmas morning. This has been our worst year ever trying to get money together for Christmas.
 
I still have a few things to get before the kids are out of school.Can't shop with them tagging along!
 
I still need to go. Have a few things but I had work and finals the last few weeks and that was my priority. That and I'm just not feeling it this year

The hubby says we are just going to buy a bundle of scratch tickets and split them up among the kids (mine are all grown or near grown)

His theory is that he always feels like he is just throwing away money anyway and he has alway wondered how that would increase the chances of winning to buy say 250 tickets in a row.

Yes he can be grinchish.
