Producer’s Pride Brooder and Coop Heater

Does anyone have any experience using these to brood chicks? I’ve been looking into getting one, but haven’t heard much about how they work. Also, can you brood chicks with them on the heater setting? My brooder won’t fit it laying flat so I would like to flip it on its side.

I have used it. Works fine. To brood chicks you must keep it on low heat and use it in the horizontal position. The chicks need to be able to stand under it.
