I have three 18 Week Chickens. Red (darkest one) is super friendly, likes to be held and enjoys eating from my hands. Elsa (White on neck) doesnt really like to be held but tolerates a few minutes, also enjoys eating from my hands. April (all brown-red) one does not like to be held whatsoever. Makes a fight and makes very loud noises as if telling on me or yelling at me when I even try but does like eating from my hands.
Any chance Red & Elsa are hens and April is a Rooster? Here are some photos.

Both Elsa and April are red sexlink pullets. White in the tail feathers and primaries on a red bird is classic red sexlink pullet coloring. April will be giving you eggs pretty soon. Red looks like a pullet, but I can only see the front half, so I can't tell if she's a red sexlink or a Production Red. Production Reds don't have any white feathering. A red sexlink cockerel would be white with some red.

Based on what I can see of Red, she looks like a Production Red pullet. If she has the white underfluff or white tail feathers (typical of RSLs), I can't see them in the pic.
With that white underfluff and those white feathers in the tail, Elsa is definitely a Red Sex Link pullet.
Can you get a shot of April showing her back end. I can't see any white underfluff in the pick but she appears to have white feathers in her tail. A shot from the backside could answer any questions regarding this issue.

Thank you all so much! This helps and makes sense of why Red is different. Here are a few photos of her body. I have to wait till tomorrow to take of her bottom.

I hope this helps!

Red is a Rooster Red and April will begin to fight at 4-5 months old.

This is a great shot; especially when enlarged. You can clearly see that all three of them have white underfluff and white feathers in their tails. All three of them are Red Sex Link pullets, which are egg laying machines. With those large red combs and wattles, they will be laying shortly and you should get loads of large, brown eggs from them. :o)

Thank you so much! I was a little worried to have a Rooster. I am really excited for them to start laying eggs. I really appreciate your time and help :)
