I wish that the normal alarm clock was as easy to program as the rooster! My daughter-in-law gets out of the house at 4:45 AM five days a week to drive to work and of course turns on the lights in the house and then shines her headlights when she leaves the house. This has kinda programmed the accidental rooster ( I say accidental 'cause I ordered all pullets) to decide that it must be morning with all the light around and thus it is time to crow.
Unfortunately I cannot get him to understand that weekends are nice times to sleep in a bit and so he sounds off at 4:45 without any lights being on at all. Now if I can just find the snooze button...
