btw... where did you find those wing bands? I think they would work a lot better than the velcro strips i have been using

I got the zip rivet style with pliers, ted likes the tabbed, he turned me onto these, I got size4

I'm going to order some.. I didn't see the sizes listed anywhere.. did you just specify it in the notes section of the order form?
I'm also thinking about getting the tabbed ones just because I think it might be easier for me to put them on

I also checked out this place and I guess I learned about most of the sizes and stuff here.

but I just ordered the ones from the other place and they sent what I think is size 4, looking at box dont tell me though.

born 3.25= 30 days old.

I grabbed 4, 3 solid white birds- 227, 217, 215

and 1 single pied bird- 230g

eta- Im a sucker for the solid white birds, although Robbie told me that A&M chose the single spot birds as breeders

Ive added a column for his birds on the spreadsheet for comparison

I just weighed them all and found one is standing out from the rest still. When I grabbed it up I could tell right away, longer, bigger- 260+ @ 30 days, took a poo on the scale or I think I could tell you it was right at 270g even, before poo. Big Quail= Big Poo

weighed these guys again and separated them into two groups. The big one above was 315g @ 39 days. definite keeper
I have 11 birds in one group that avg'd 267g = 9.5 oz at 39 days
and 13 birds looking for a bbq, avg 235g = 8.5 oz at 39 days, hear more males in this group.

gonna let the group of 11 birds grow out for a few more weeks and select 6-8 birds to move forward.
