When my girls start laying I am going to do some project eggs thinking of doing the following crosses

Pullet x Cockerel

Oprington x JG

Polish x Silkie

RIR x Silkie

JG x Silkie

JG x Wyandotte

Plymouth Rock x Silkie

Gold Sex Link x Wyandotte

Leghorn x Silkie

Delaware x Wyandotte

Delaware x JG

Any other suggestions would be great

Sounds like a bunch of neat mutts.

Honestly if you want to go for something really neat looking, try crossing your Wyandotte (IF it is a laced one) with the Plymouth Rock. If you work on that cross, you may just end up with a barred, laced bird. Takes some know-how on the breeding of F2 and F3, but they're SO neat looking and there are practically no chickens out there with that color, except "Crele" Polish.
