When we were picking out chicks earlier I checked their vents to make sure they looked good and not pasty or anything.
Well it seems one got past me as the kids helped to pick out new chicks.
It looked like it HAD pasty butt and they pulled a little to much. There are no feathers near the vent and it is protruding a little, like the size of a pencil eraser. I cleaned it up with some warm water.
Now what? I would really hate to loose this little bantie seeing as the KIDS picked it out and not me.

I think you could push it back in, using prep h, but nothing that has any pain reliever. It should stay, but I had one that was pasty and prolapsed and peeped loud. I felt like it was in misery. I had to put it down. I hope it works out for you.

Sending well wishes for the little darling.
