What about using alum? Has anyone ever tried this. I don't know if it's toxic or not. I don't think it's toxic. I remember my Mother putting it on anyone in the family that had a canker sore. It would shrink them. Not sure what else it was used for. I do know something else it was used for but this is not the place to post it.
