Prolapsed for a week, bleeding need to cull

I've tried all methods to heal her, but today she started bleeding a lot after laying an egg again. I feel bad, because she seems healthy otherwise. But bleeding with each egg.

First to time cull. Does the broomstick method actually work? Other suggestions?

Yes the broomstick method does work. Pull straight up hard and fast. It can result in decapitation and then there is no doubt. With or without decapitation there will be flapping, so don't second-guess yourself that the bird is suffering, but with decapitation there will be bleeding. Only you can decide when it is time to dispatch a bird. Best wishes.

Thank you for responding. Yes, we had to cull her. She wouldn't stop bleeding and the prolapse lasted over a week. I could feel her in pain every time I tried to clean and help her. Sad.
