Hi, I have a 4 1/2 month old Pekin Drake that has a prolapsed penis for two weeks now. I named him
Prolapsed Peter. I've cleaned him, applied ointments and pushed it back in but it comes right back out.
All my research says to wait for it to dry up and then snip the dead part off. But how long does it take to dry up? He's constantly on top of the two females. I would get rid of him but I can't pass on this problem to someone else. I can't really keep them separated either. Is there a way to speed this process up?
