You can switch to vitamin E capsules, pop with a pin and just spread the oil on her vent. The vitamin E works much quicker than the P H. You don't want to feed her layer feed. She needs a break for a bit. You can also give her a human Calcium 500mg with vitamins D 4000iu, crushed and added to a little bit of water that she can drink in a short period of time. This will help her build up her store of calcium and hopefully keep this from happening again. She is just standing by her bowl with her eyes closed. Opens them occasionally and takes a bite. Anyone know after that kind of a procedure how long till they are feeling better? Also, how often do you use the perpetration h?
You can crush the tablet in a little water and use a dropper to give it to her drop by drop. You could also look up how to tube feed her. Casportpony has some great info on how to do this. Me...I'm a coward and would do it the dropper way. You just have to be careful she doesn't aspirate the liquid. She is not drinking. Any way to get fluids in her other than water?
