so i noticed today my buff orpington (2.5 years old, healthy weight) seemed to have a prolapsed vent (see pics). she seems otherwise healthy but i haven’t been monitoring her eating, drinking, pooping and it’s possible she hasn’t been laying since we’re not getting as many as usual. i did some research got some supplies and went to try to treat it. but when i looked, it seemed to have gone back in. as i was cleaning it, it slightly protruded again but went back in. i felt around but didn’t feel an egg, though it could be a soft egg i guess. now i think she seems like she’s contracting like she’s trying to poop or something. not sure what to do here. any help is appreciated.
