Prolapsed vent with lash egg?

Is this a prolapsed vent? Pullet pictured is about 6 months old and now deceased. Looks like a weird egg thing next to the vent. This is not my chicken, posting for a friend.

I would call it a partial prolapse.
Mucous or albumen beside the vent.

Does your friend still have the body? If they do, could they possibly perform an informal necropsy?
