Your other thread is here.

You didn't provide any other info, photos, etc.
How far is the tissue hanging out, is it damaged, necrotic, is there an egg...?

If the tissue keeps coming out, then it's too swollen to be retained. Keep the tissue moist and cleaned. Not everything can be resolved in a short period of time.

Thank you for getting back to me! I will take pictures! I have her separated in a crate inside my house! I am keeping it clean several times a day!

I pushed it way up and checked for an egg and didn't feel anything!I held her for almost an hour holing her vent very gentally & It popped out again so i sprayed it with antibacterial spray and put her in a quiet place. I will try again tonite.

Well, this is very helpful!

That said, I'm not sure it answers the question of one of my girls. Maybe you folks have some insights? I did read the article linked above and it was enlightening, but still not sure on this girls situation, seems a bit out of the ordinary for what I'm seeing on Vent prolapse.

I believe she is a red rock, she was given to us as a chick, hatched first week of June 2021, so only 9mo old. Been laying since mid November.

Last week I saw her standing with the feathers on her backside splayed and she seemed to have something 'peeking' out from her Vent and then back in.

Our most dominant hens were occupying 2 of the 3 nest boxes at the time and I thought MAYBE she needs to lay but wants to wait until they're out.

Today I saw her doing it again, of course I didn't have my phone with me this time either. I watched her carefully and she would have a significant flesh-coloured 'baloon' stick out, not red or bloody, then get a small strand of poop out, then pull everything back in, then do it again a few times to finish eliminating. Again, there is no blood like in another prolapsed hen we had once or pictures I've seen of prolapse.

She's acting normally otherwise, scratching, pecking, running around, competing for treats, etc.

Does this seem like I should intervene? Or is it possible that she can recover on her own if she doesn't have tissue out unless she's trying to eliminate, and is otherwise doing well? Should I isolate her with less light for a while?
