My daughter is dealing with one of her hen's. She does't know if she has even laid an egg yet, but found her with a prolaspe yesterday.

They were out of town so my other daughter tended to the chicken. She was able to get the material back inside the chicken. It came back out so she repeated the process and it stayed in until my daughter and her family returned from vacation early today.

The prolapsed material is inside, but my daughter said the area is bulging.

She has drank sugar water, not much
She eat some watermelon - very little, but is not interested in any thing really.

@Wyorp Rock I read in a post where you said that a prolapsed hen needed calcium. Is that part of the treatment protocol for prolapse? Should this hen be taking calcium?

Also, any suggestions on getting this girl to eat?

She is currently isolated and doing all they can to keep the area clean and coated with ointment.

I'm sorry to hear this.

Yes, I'd give her 300mg of Calcium Citrate+D3 once daily for a week. If you don't have that, give 1 TUMS.
The Extra Calcium is given short term during a crisis (prolapse is one) and can help with retention and contractions.

Sounds like she's retaining for the time being, but with bulging or swelling of tissue she may prolapse again when she poops or lays an egg. Hopefully not, but it does happen.

IF she prolapses again / tissue is exposed and she's swollen, the tissue may not go back in and be retained for a period of time until the swelling/inflammation goes down. Keep any exposed tissue coated with oil, ointment, raw honey, sugar pack - whatever is available, just so it doesn't dry out.

Keeping her hydrated is important. So whatever she likes or will drink is fine. Watermelon, tomato, cucumber - whatever she likes is fine. You can try wet mushy feed, bits of egg or sardines, dry feed. She may not want a lot to eat, but I'd still make something available, keeping the fluids in her is most important.

If she prolapses, get some photos. Did she say if the tissue was a bit bloody or damaged/picked at?

My daughter must have found her directly. It was still bloody, but it doesn't appear to have been pecked by the other chickens.

Here are photos after the bath and what it looked like after my daughter put everything back in and held it in place for about a 1/2 hour. She had to do that again, but not as much had come out the 2nd time. It has stayed in since, but again, it is bulging.

Here is a picture of the prolapse before the clean up.
