So I think my male duck may have prolapsed his penis. He is about 4 months old and when I went out he was walking around with it out. He seems off his food and depressed. The girls are also pecking at it - poor little guy.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Please do as @sourland suggested and get him separated ASAP.

Is a vet an option? I ask because it looks very pink and I think it could be infected.

Left untreated the infection could become quite serious and result in the death of the penis which would require amputation of the penis, or worst case scenario, the death of the duck.

The following is a video of a penis being amputated. Note that I am not suggesting that you do this, or that this is what your duck needs. I just thought that what this vet says is quite useful - Please do not attempt to amputate your duck's penis.

If he were mine I would clean it very well, apply an antibiotic cream, and try to reinsert it. I would also probably start some oral antibiotics. I would also keep him in a clean cage or pen until it heals.

One of my drakes had it once and I asked an Ag teacher at my school about what to do. Let's just say some of my friends have been calling him a female now. But he's good now, I just put some stuff on it, also I think a bit dropped off.
