Well, supposed to be I mean. I use schwa or a schwa-ish sound but that might be accent related.

No, it's more an 'oh' sound than a schwa 'uh' sound. An open 'o', not sure if there's a more exact term for that sound. It's like the short word 'or,' as in 'this or that'.
