Proper Care and feed

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

Since you have a rooster in your flock, feed some sort of "flock raiser" or "all flock" feed, it doesn't have the high calcium levels that layer feed contains. Lower calcium for the rooster. Put oyster shell in a small tub like bowl on the side near the water or feed for the hens, they can nibble as needed for extra calcium to put on a hard egg shell.

We have a "Other Pets and Livestock" forum here on BYC, you can ask questions about your goats here... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/other-pets-livestock.22/

Make yourself at home here and welcome to our community!

I have inherited 10 hens and 1 rooster. I am looking for suggestions on proper feed and chick care.
How old are they?

I see several people have made suggestions for adult chickens. But if yours are very young (still showing fluffy down instead of real feathers), they will have some special needs until they grow a bit more.
